Thanks for all the good vibrations that you, Bonnie and
Bekka have put through probably 12 different stereos of mine over the
years. The new stuff sounds just as good as the old. Come to Atlanta soon
PLEASE! | ||||||||

The
perfect baby boomer tour Legends of Classic Rock" featuring a reuninted
Delaney & Bonnie, Dave Mason, Leon Russell, and Joe Cocker. It could
happen with a little effort? It would be the tour of the year.

Hey Buddy, Been a long while. Had a # tha Bonnie Gave me years ago, didn't ever get an answer. Lots of water under the bridge since we last talked. I like the publicist version of when you and Bonnie married. Get in touch, Paul

Delaney, the most fun I ever had as an engineer was doing
the "blue album". You're one of the best rhythm guitar players on the
planet. I learned a shitload about groove, soul, and just having a great
time making music from you and Bonnie.

It was great to find this website. I have been a huge
D&B fan for 30 years now. I was happy to find the Sounds from Home CD
and see that the man I have respected and listened to for so many years
was still making great music. I wore out two LPs of both the live album and Motel Shot and still listen (along with the others) frequently. Good things the Japanese appreciate great music so I was able to replicate my LP collection with CDs. I watched the videos of the now famous 1970 tour. Are there any plans to make these available on DVD? Obviously I do not know how much was filmed but I think there would be an enormous demand. I would have loved to have seen one of the stops on that tour so this would be as close as I could come. Anyway, I will be checking your site in the future. Happy Christmas.

Listen to the buzz that surrounds the Blues today ... what
does it tell you? To me, it says that - as if there was ever any question
- Delaney was (and still is) an artist ahead of his peers and his times.
Just ask Clapton, and Whitlock, and the myriad others who knew that when
they were mentored by Mr. Bramlett they were at the feet of the
best. Delaney, my prayer is for you to stay healthy and as musically vital as you deserve to be in this world of one-hit wonders, one-night stands, and overnight failures. You done good, boy, save for a few times I'm sure you'd like to have back (like when that bottleneck broke on your finger in Trenton, NJ one night back before the earth was round). BTW - with all these half-baked musical reunions that have plagued the world, why can't we have the real thing? A "Delaney & Friends" gig that would leave 'em weepin' in the aisles! You, Mr. Nimble Fingers, Whitlock, Keltner, and any others who are still upright would make for one nasty sound on stage, I believe. May it always go well for you, sir. Peter |
