Hi Delaney, Hope all is well with you. I grew up listening and playing some of your music in the early 70's. I'm actually trying to get the words to "Hard Luck and Troubles". I'll try e-mailing after this. Keep on keepin' on! Mark

Dear Delaney: I and another blues researcher are finishing writing the first biography of Howlin' Wolf, due for publication in May by Pantheon Books/Random House. I also helped a couple of film makers make a documentary about Wolf called "The Howlin' Wolf Story," which has been selling very well on DVD. My cowriter and I are trying to figure out who was in the house band on "Shindig" the night Wolf played there in '65. Were you in the Shindogs that night? Could you help us identify the other band members? It was Billy Preston on piano and James Burton on guitar, but the rest of them are hard to ID. Please email me if you wish and I'll send you a copy of the DVD so you can help out with this little bit of rock 'n' roll history. Thanks 1,000,000! -Mark Hoffman Co-author of "Moanin' at Midnight: The Life and Times of Howlin' Wolf" www.howlinwolf.com

Delaney, I haven't seen you play since I saw you in Malibu about 11 years ago at Trancas Beach and still talk about that band. I've enjoyed your music since the very beginning. I have a very big charity event in September for Harley Davidson riders that will be drawing thousands of people and I would be interested in having you perform if possible. Please email me at [email protected] Keep up with the playing. You're the greatest. Thanks! Patrick
