Hello Mr. Bramlett, I am planning the Bramlett family reunion. It is tentatively planned for the spring of 2006. I am the grand-daughter of Hugo and Gertrude Bramlett. My grandfather was born in 1900 and my grandmother in 1903. They were both born in Texas and bore 10 children. My grandfather's family was from Mississippi. My father's name if Joseph Therion Bramlett. He was born in Roscoe, Texas in 1923. He and I are working on the family geneology. I am emailing you to find out if you would be interested in attending the family reunion and to see if you have any information available in terms of our geneology. I hope this email finds you well. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you. God Bless, Ligia D. Bramlett-McDonald

I just came from seeing the new release of Festival
Express and noticed that when Delaney and Jerry Garcia were playing on
stage together, Jerry was playing a Rosewood Telecaster. I was wondering
if this was the same guitar George Harrison gave to Delaney and let Jerry
borrow it, or if it was Jerry's own. Thanks for your help. Dave

I first saw D&B with Clapton when they toured America. Blues Harp man Tony Glover played on the encore. I saw 3 more shows over the years, the last was funny because Bonnie stuck her head out from the curtain before the show to check the crowd, and some fool yells, "hey cutie, whats your name" Then during the show someone yelled for Delaney to turn his guitar up and Bonnie said, "oh, he'll be so pleased" I'll never forget that first show as I had never before or since seen a man screem like Delaney. I still love and play D&B music. How bout a CD of "Motel Shot"???????

Dear Delaney, I was reading the liner notes on Jimmy Buffett's new album, when much to my delight I saw Bekka's name as a back-up vocalist. That sent me down memory lane, and I scanned the internet for news on y'all. I am SO GLAD to see you are still in the thick of things, and producing your beautiful music. I have such fond memories of going up to your ranch to visit you, Kim, Mammo and Bekka with your nephew, Christopher (how is he, by the way?), and listening to you play and sing, and tell your wonderful stories. You are truly one of a kind, and I'm glad to see you receive the recognition you so richly deserve for your contribution to music. My oldest son Jack (I couldn't resist: "Jack Daniel Murphy!") is only 3/12, but he has perfect pitch and LOVES music, and I dug out your old albums I had and he asked to hear them over and over again. I can't wait to get your new material! Is it available on-line? I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about y'all. God Bless you and your wonderful family! Sincerely, Cee-Cee Murphy (used to be Morgan)

Delaney, Every time I listen to your "On Tour with Eric Clapton" album it just knocks me out. Are the original multitracks of those shows still extant? If so, what are the chances of an extended remix/re-release of that tour? Man, that would be killer. Thanks. Doug
